About me

Hello! I’m Maxime, and I’m passionate about video games.

Currently a game design student at Isart DIGITAL Paris, I create video games by taking care mainly of the game design, level design, and narrative design aspects of the game. I’m also well-versed in UI/UX design and game theory.

I have a great interest in video game concepts as I’m always looking for original ways of playing by looking into hidden gems, whether they’re retro games or indie games. I usually search on the internet or inside retro games shops to find interesting games I haven’t played yet. I also play more well-known recent games as I want to keep in touch with what’s happening in the video game industry.

I have an immense love for movies, I pay attention to storytelling and usually take influences from movies when creating new games. I often read books to find captivating stories and interesting fictional worlds as literature has always been a great influence on movies and video games.

When I’m not watching movies, playing video games, or reading… I’m listening to music. I appreciate different genres such as rock, blues, rap, soul, jazz, and funk… I take great care of my music playlists and frequently try to dig an obscure undiscovered great track.

It has always been important to cultivate my mind and look for inspiration outside of my comfort zone. Much as interact with new people and travel to foreign countries, discovering new things to learn has always been essential for improving my work and pushing the boundaries of what I’m capable of creating.
